WHAT IS MY PIN?  Many retailers have changed their policies on debit cards and may require you to enter the PIN number that is associated with your debit card rather than requesting a signature to complete a purchase. If you don’t remember your PIN number, contact us!

Security Alert:  NEVER provide debit or credit card numbers, PINs or any other non-public personal information in response to an unsolicited e-mail or request.

Attention Existing Jackson County Bank Debit Card Holders
Jackson County Bank will be issuing a new Debit Card to you in 2010 to meet new MasterCard requirements.  This replacement card will be issued automatically before fall of 2010. This new Debit Card will replace your existing card, and it will have a different 16-digit card number.

Please take note of this important information regarding your new Debit Card.

  • The PIN number you have established with your old Debit Card will also be the PIN number on the new Debit Card you receive in 2010.

  • When you receive the new Debit Card, sign it and then activate it by completing a pinned transaction at an ATM (such as a withdrawal, inquiry, transfer).  You may also activate the card by entering your PIN number when making a purchase at a merchant location.

  • If you have established automatic payments through your existing Debit Card, you will need to authorize the merchant to take the payment from your new Debit Card in order to avoid interruption in payments.

  • You may continue to use your old Debit Card even after the new card arrives, however you may wish to destroy the old card to avoid confusion, or a lost or misplaced card.  All of the old Debit Cards will be deactivated by the fall of 2010.

  • If you'd like more information, please contact the Accounting Department at extension 1250.
